Airviro 3.0 is a completely Web based environmental GIS tool. This makes Airviro a true distributed application suitable for regional applications or coorporations as well as small standalone systems for unexperienced users.

Today more than 80 Indic-Airviro customers world-wide, authorities and industries, use the system to improve and structure their environment management work.

The Airviro sites range from regional internet systems with hundreds of users to a few users intranet systems.

Airviro is a modular system and therefore a site can start with limited fucntionality and grow with time.

Indic-Airviro's main modules are:

  • Indico - Data collection and time series analysies including presentation of data in real time.
  • Indico validation - Supports validation of measured data.
  • EDB - An emission database that describes emissions to air and water in an area with many sources emitting several substances with different time variation.
  • Dispersion - A module to run Dispersion calculations and to display and analyse the result. Currently 6 different models are supported including the Airviro grid and gauss models as well as a street canyon model. The US EPA AERMOD model is supported as well.
  • APUB - Publicication of environmental data for the public on the internet

The Airviro server runs on normal PC:s using Linux as operating system. This gives the optimal combination of stability and price.
